First of all, thank you to all of you who took the time to cast your votes in the Saatchi Online Showdown. Your input is hugely appreciated.
The competition is now down to two entries – Paul Saroglou’s Falling Soldier and Uwe Schein’s Order & Disorder. Congrats to both. We look forward to who wins this round….
Whilst E.s entry – a portrait of Arthur Ferrari – did not make the final two places, we feel that overall it has been a big success. An average rating of 7.06 / 10 and over 1,370 votes cast.
Out of more than 2250 entries, that’s not bad ,)

Dear Sketchpowder friends,
Happy New Year to you all – here’s to 2010 being the first year of a decade filled with joy, peace and opportunity for all.
Erwan’s year is certainly starting out well – a new studio easel, a new studio, a successfully completed commission and lots of new canvasses just waiting to be caressed.
As for me, I am finding more inspiring songs to record and relishing life.
Thank you for following us as we started this out in 2009 – we hope to continue delighting you over the year to come x
